Creation Station: Vibrant shape collages

Create colorful collages inspired by the work of artist Reginald Laurent. Because this program was held in honor of Juneteenth, we invited kids to use their artistic freedom to create something that shows that everyone is equal.

Full Program Description

Craft and create with us! We’ll provide an idea and supplies then you create your own masterpiece. In this session, arrange bright organic shapes into a design you like, then decorate, outline, and connect them with paint! This project is inspired by the upcoming Juneteenth holiday and the work of Chicago-born artist Reginald Laurent, who strives to make every color on his canvas equally important and respected.
