Family program: Gather and Play for Juneteenth

This open-house style, super adaptable family event held at a local park was created to provide a kid-friendly, low-inertia way to remember Juneteenth. There was no educational content portion of the event, so we gave a picture book and craft kit to each family.

minimal cost
minimal staff time required

Full program description

Let’s mark our newest national holiday together. Stop by Pocket Park for bubbles, popsicles, chalk, pop rockets, and other summertime staples.

Participants will receive a DIY take-home kit with a book and activities.
