Tote-ally Terrific: DIY Batik Bags

First, learn a little bit about the history of batik around the world with a scratch-off map. Then make your own “batik”-style canvas bag or tote using a glue resist technique with acrylic paint. This project was given out as a craft kit during the pandemic, but it could be done in an in-person program as long as you’re able to dry the glue with a hairdryer before painting.
